Narayaneeyam Dasakam: 46-Yasoda seeing the universe in the mouth of baby Krishna.

One day Mata Yashoda was cuddling Lord Krishna and playing with him. The child lying on his mother's lap yawned and opened his mouth. Mata Yashoda saw the whole universe in his mouth, the sun, the moon and all the stars, the sky, mountains, rivers, islands, oceans, all the continents, all living as well as non living beings.

One day, the infant Krishna was playing with with your friends, , pluckingfruits, cheated them and ate the fruits gathered by them. Angry with Thee, they went and complained to your mother that you ate mud. When the Supreme Personality of Godhead Krishna was so ordered by His mother, He immediately opened His mouth just like an ordinary boy. Then mother Yasoda saw within that mouth the complete opulence of creation. She saw the entire outer space in all directions, mountains, islands, oceans, seas, planets, air, fire, moon and stars. Along with the moon and the stars she also saw the entire elements, water, sky, the extensive ethereal existence along with the total ego and the products of the senses and the controller of the senses, all the demigods, the objects of the senses like sound, smell, etc., and the three qualities of material nature.

She also could perceive that within His mouth were all living entities, eternal time, material nature, spiritual nature, activity, consciousness and different forms of the whole creation. Yasoda could find within the mouth of her child everything necessary for cosmic manifestation. She also saw, within His mouth, herself taking Krishna on her lap and having Him sucking her breast. Upon seeing all this, she became struck with awe and began to wonder whether she were dreaming or actually seeing something extraordinary. She concluded that she was either dreaming or seeing the play of the illusory energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. She thought she had become mad, mentally deranged, to see all those wonderful things.

Narayaneeyam Dasakam: 44 -- Naming Ceremony Of Lord Krishna

Naming Ceremony
Gargacharya was the family priest of the Yadavas. He came to Vraja, Nanda’s Gokula, one day at the request of Vasudeva. Nanda duly received him and said, “You are versed in the Vedas. The science of astrology has been propounded by you. Please perform the naming ceremony of these two boys.” Garga replied, “I am known as the priest of the Yadavas. If I conduct the naming ceremony of your son, Kamsa might suspect your son to be the eighth son of Devaki.” Nanda promised strict privacy. Garga performed the ceremony in a quiet and unfrequented place.

 (Courtesy google image)
Garga said, “The son of Rohini shall be called Rama or the charming one, as he will charm his friends and relatives by his virtues. He will be called by the name ‘Bala’ on account of his infinite strength. This will be second name. He will bring together all the Yadus and remove all differences, and so he will be called by the name ‘Sankarshana’. This dark complexioned child assumes the human form in every Yuga. He has already appeared in three colours, white (Sukla), red (Rakta) and yellow (Pita). Now he has got the black colour. Therefore his name will be Krishna. Your son has very many names and forms. He will bring you prosperity and delight. He will protect you against all dangers. You will thoroughly triumph over all difficulties. He will bring extreme delight to all Gopas, cows and Gokula as well. O Nanda! Your son is equal to the Lord Narayana by his Guna, form, fame, grandeur and powers.” To increase the transcendental bliss of the cowherd men of Gokula, this child Krsna will always act auspiciously for you. And by His grace only, you will surpass all difficulties.
In conclusion, Garga said , O Nanda Maharaja, this child of yours is as good as Narayana. In His transcendental qualities, opulence, name, fame and influence, He is exactly like Narayana. You should all raise this child very carefully and cautiously. After Gargamuni, having instructed Nanda Maharaja about Krishna, departed for his own home, Nanda Maharaja was very pleased and considered himself full of all good fortune.

Narayaneeyam Dasakam: 42 -- Slaying of Sakatasura

In  his  previous  life  Sakatasura  was  born  in  the  Caksusa  Manvantara  as tha son of Hiranyaksa ana was name  Utkatca  He  had the body of a giant and was extremely powerful. In order  to  give  vent  to  his strength he  would sometimes  go  to  harass  Lomasá muni á great sage by uprooting and scattering the  trees  near his ashrama.
One day after doing his mischief Utkatcá insolently  approached  the  muni  and  towering  over  him  sneered   contemptuously  Infuriated  by  this arrogant display of  defiance  Lomasá  muni  addressed him sternly: "O  fool, because your intelligence is diseased you  erroneously  think that you can vandalize and defile my asramá with  impunity  considering  me á helpless old man and nothing more Because  you  have so grieviously abused the facility of physical form I curse  you to henceforth become á ghost." As  á  serpent leaves its skin Utkatcá immediately  vacated  his  body. As  he  found himself floating in  the  ether  he  became  very astonished. With á new found respect and repentant heart he  humbly submitted himself at the feet of the sage saying: "O best of the rsis. O ocean of mercy kindly be compassionate to  me.  Until now I was completely unaware of your potency.  I  beg  you to allow me to enter my body again."
In his lifetime Lomasá muni had seen 10 Brahmas come and go. If  the curse of such a person is in itself a benediction then  what  to speak of his blessing!
Seeing  the  demon's  change  of  heart  Lomasá  muni   relented  somewhat saying: "You  must remain in this subtle form until the  present  6th  manvantará is finished. Then in the following  Vaivasvatá  Manvantara,  at  the end of the 28th Dvapará  yuga  the  Supreme  Personality  of  Godhead Lord Krsna wilì manifest  His  earthly  pastimes.  At that time you will be liberated when He kills  you  with á strike of His lotus foot."As  fortold  by Lomasá muni Utkatcá became Sakatasurá  in  Krisná Lila and was sent byu Kamsá to kill the Lord.
"When Sri Krsna was only three months old and was just trying to turn backside up, before He even attempted to crawl, mother Yasoda wanted to observe a ritualistic ceremony with her friends for the good fortune of the child. Such a ritualistic ceremony is generally performed with ladies who also have small children.

When mother Yasoda saw that Krsna was falling asleep, because of other engagements she put the child underneath a household cart, called sakata, and while the child was sleeping, she engaged herself in other business pertaining to the auspicious ritualistic ceremony. Underneath the cart was a cradle, and mother Yasoda placed the child in that cradle. Because  ghosts  drift helplessly when in open air they  try  to  occupy some place where the air is not moving when they wish  to  remain  stationary. Considering this, as soon as  Sakatasurá  had  spotted  baby Krsná lying underneath á heavy cart, he entered it  in his ethereal body and caused it to collapse violently on  the Lord The child was sleeping, but suddenly He awakened and, as usual for a child, began to kick His small legs. This kicking shook the cart, which collapsed with a great sound, breaking completely and spilling all its contents.

At  once  Krishná  kicked  the  dismantled  cart  and  thus  Sakatasurá was immediately freed from his subtle body  Attaining  his  spiritual form he spontaneously offered his  obeisances  to  the  Lord Children who were playing nearby immediately informed mother Yasoda that the cart had broken, and therefore she hastily arrived there in great anxiety with the other gopis. Mother Yasoda immediately took the child on her lap and allowed Him to suck her breast. Then various types of Vedic ritualistic ceremonies were performed with the help of the brahmanas. Not knowing the real identity of the child, the brahmanas showered the child with blessings." .
